Officers (A103/R50) Corps 44 Cadets 5

Petition
  1. Pray for the Government and those of influence on the island – a Buddhist majority, a ruling family party with over a 2/3’s majority – pray for freedom of worship and fairness in the business dealings with Christian and other religious minorities.
  2. Pray for financial restoration and growth for the ministry of TSA – we are so grateful for the safety of many over the times of COVID-19 lockdown and curfews, but the lack of ‘daily’ income has severely impacted giving and increased the needs of the communities.
  3. Pray for a smooth transition of Territorial leadership – that the momentum of the ministry will continue to grow as some have planted and others will reap the harvest.
  4. Pray for our children and youth – for protection and provision as they compete for opportunities in a Buddhist system, and pray that our Corps and territorial teaching and interaction with them will develop a deep reservoir of faith and strength.
  5. Please pray for candidates and those who would respond to the call for full time ministry. This is a serious challenge to our ministry and we are desperate for our Officer Training College to be full so that we can send out uniquely equipped followers of Jesus to all areas of the island.
  6. Pray with thanksgiving for those who invest in the ministry on the island – IHQ, Project funds, friends of the territory around the world – we minister to others with this support.
  7. Pray for a response to the prayers of the officers, soldiers and friends of the Territory as we have just finished ’52 Days of Prayer’ and ‘Rebuilding Together’ in a journey through Nehemiah. We believe these united times of Prayer, reflection and activity, plus the prayers of the world-wide Salvation Army will see ‘greater things…’ in this territory – and for that we give thanks.
