Despite the violent uprising, many people accepted Christ, and the gospel continued to spread. Prayer requests: 1. Please pray for the ongoing development of men’s ministries throughout the Territory. 2. Pray that young people in the Caribbean, especially in English and Dutch-speaking areas, respond positively to God’s call to be officers. 3. Pray for divine guidance as the territory develops its 2025-2030 strategic plan. 4. Pray for a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit during the Suriname District Centennial Celebration scheduled for 5-13 October 2024. |
05/07 | Cheung Hong Community Day Rehabilitation and Residential Service Service Supervisor: Mr. Queenie Wong Prayer Requests: 1. It is Cheung Hong Community Day Rehabilitation and Residential Service’s 20th anniversary this year. We are grateful for God’s guidance and protection in the past 20 years, so our unit became a haven of safety for 43 residents and 12 day-care participants. May God bless these individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families with healthy bodies and minds and be filled with God’s abundant grace. 2. The rehabilitation care home has been understaffed. May God bless us with lead colleagues who He sees fit to join our team and commit to serve those with intellectual disabilities together. 3. We pray that God will protect our colleagues who are serving enthusiastically, and that they will have wisdom and strength to face and solve daily operational challenges. |
