Education Centre inviting students to design their ideal and unique learning environment
(26 August 2018, Macau) “Learning Environment in Little Eyes” Award Presentation Ceremony was held yesterday, where around 60 primary students were presented with certificates of appreciation for participating the programme. “Learning Environment in Little Eyes”, an educational programme launched by TSA (Macau) Education Centre, aims to raise public awareness of the importance of learning environment to students. The programme recruits around 60 primary students to design their ideal learning environment. Their pieces were exhibited in the ceremony yesterday. Each piece is colourful, inspiring and unique.
In the ceremony, Dr. Carl Cheng, Educational Services Director of The Salvation Army emphasised the importance of learning environment to students’ education. To him, learning environment is the third teacher of students. Furthermore, a positive learning environment helps encourage the proactive learning attitude of the students. The programme is consisted of three phases. After the award presentation ceremony, the second phase will be launched in September.
