The Mid-Autumn festival is a time of reunion and joy. We often give each other mooncakes as a symbol of blessing each other.

The Salvation Army will continue the Mid-Autumn Festival Appeal this year in hopes that while we enjoy the festival, we will not forget the needs of our community. Let’s share a warm Mid-Autumn Festival with those in need (including but not limited to the elderly, the carers, the homeless, and low-income families) by sharing mooncakes with them!

This year, the Army aims to collect 30,000 mooncakes and raise HK$580,000 in cash donations, which will be spent on purchase daily supplies and food. These resources together with the mooncakes we collected will be distributed to 30,000 people in need. We encourage you all to donate mooncake or mooncake vouchers and sincerely invite you to join us to share your love and bring hope, love, and joy to people in need in our community.
