Every year, The Salvation Army organises the ‘Share the Blessings’ Chinese New Year Appeal. Themed ‘A Warm New Year’ this year, the appeal aims to celebrate a new year of love and warmth with those in need in the community – including low-income families, the elderly, street sleepers, caregivers, etc – with a series of festive activities and community care services. We sincerely invite people from all walks of life to join hands with The Salvation Army by donating money, goods, or volunteering, to spread love and warmth throughout the community.
Our goal is to raise HK$500,000 and donations will go into supporting the Army’s community services, including distributing winter clothing and providing food and supplies to 3,000 people in need within the community, such as the elderly, low-income families, street sleepers, caregivers, etc.
New Year Charity Events
The Salvation Army Children’s Chinese Fun Carnival at Citywalk

During the event, participants can also enjoy wonderful performances and art creations by the Army’s students and service users from the Social Services Department.
