Christmas presents mean a lot to children, bring them joy as well as blessings and hope. Last year, we solicited 27,000 toys and beneficiaries are more than 20,000 children. This year, ‘Share the Joy’ Christmas Angel Campaign 2023 has begun and we sincerely to invite all of you to become our Christmas Angel and share the blessings of the festival to underprivileged communities, bring a different and amazing Christmas to children. We aim to raise HK$600,000 and solicit 8,000 pieces of new, copyrighted, and unwrapped toys for at least 8,000 children from low-income families, sub-divided flat families, beneficiary of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance, of the School Textbook Assistance (full rate), or of the Working Family Allowance (full rate). Furthermore, we will provide training courses, day trips, visiting events to cultivate children’s personal interests, explore their potential and strengthen family relationships.

Christmas Gift Matching Programme

In this programme, we are calling for the public and corporates to donate 8,000 pieces of toys in total. We will be inviting underprivileged children (from low in-come families, sub-divided flat families, or beneficiary of the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance, of the School Textbook Assistance (full rate), or of the Working Family Allowance (full rate)) to fill in a “My Christmas Wishlist”. The Salvation Army will then match their wishes with the donated toys and send them their desired gifts before Christmas. We hope to send gifts to at least 8,000 children through this programme.

Public and corporates can donate new, copyrighted, and unopened toys to the following depots.

Christmas Charity Sales

To encourage the public and corporates to support the ‘Share the Joy’ Christmas Angel Campaign 2023, we are launching different products for charity sales. We invite you to place an order to support The Salvation Army. Proceeds will go to The Salvation Army general fund to support the community services.

Charty Sale Event Date

The Salvation Army ‘Share the Joy’ Christmas Angel Campaign Christmas Carols and Fun Fair

To celebrate the joyful festival, The Salvation Army will present “The Salvation Army Christmas Carols and Fun Fair” at Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre on 17 December. We hope to share the gospel and call for the public to donate cash and toys for underprivileged children at these events.

Also, we have invited the performances of students at the events, bringing love and joy to local communities. Furthermore, the events will feature booths and charity sale to promote the work and community services of The Salvation Army.

Children’s Book Fair with Super Parents & Kids Expo

Invited by our valued media partner, Parents Headline, to participate in the Children’s Book Fair with Super Parents & Kids Expo. The event will take place from 8–10 December 2023, and we will have 4 booths at the Expo. We will be offering Christmas Charity Sales products during the event.
