On 20 April 2013, 8 am, a devastative earthquake of 7.0 magnitude struck Lushan County, Yaan City of Sichuan Province. At least 200 people were killed and are missing, more than 11,000 were injured, and approx. 1,500,000 people were left homeless.
Up till 26 April, The Salvation Army continues to deliver additional food supplies to the survivors. We, with the help of the community plan to provide daily necessities, blankets and folding beds to those who have lost their homes in this disaster.
