In Hong Kong, there are approximately 400,000 foreign domestic helpers, primarily from Indonesia and the Philippines, who take care of the needs of numerous families. The Salvation Army cares about these caregivers from abroad and would like to express our appreciation for their efforts in taking care of the local people around them.
The Salvation Army has prepared an exquisite gift in this Christmas and encourages our students, corps (church) members, service users and staff to become Joy Angels and give the gift to the domestic helper at their home or nearby and share joy and blessings with them during the Festival.
