(9 April 2019, Hong Kong) The Salvation Army announced the appointment of Lieut-Colonel Bob Lee and Lieut-Colonel Wendy Lee as Officer Commanding and Command President of Women’s Ministries of the Hong Kong and Macau Command from 1 April 2019.

Lieut-Colonels Bob and Wendy Lee are from Singapore and have been commissioned officers of The Salvation Army since the early 1980s. They have held leadership appointments in Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar Territory and the Philippines Territory as the Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries and most recently as the Regional Commander and Regional President of Women’s Ministries of the Taiwan Region.

Lieut-Colonel Bob Lee will lead the Hong Kong and Macau Command to serve the local community providing religious, educational and social services, as well as conducting recycling programme, family stores, emergency relief and poverty alleviation projects. Lieut-Colonel Wendy Lee will supervise the Army’s women ministries.

Lieut-Colonels Bob and Wendy Lee succeed Colonels Ian and Wendy Swan who are moving into new appointments in the Zambia Territory of The Salvation Army after their six years of distinguished leadership in Hong Kong.
