  1. The employment of an assistant accounting personnel.
  2. Pray for the preparation work of our community service in November – co-organised by various The Salvation Army units in Macau with the participation of our colleagues to serve the community.
  3. Pray for the Education Centre in the search for a new location. May we find an appropriate space in the Iao Hon area so the Education Centre, the Joy Family Integrated Service Centre, and the Corps can be in the same area, hopefully we can have more collaboration to support the SEN students and their families.
10/9 Iao Hon Corps

Prayer Request:

  1. The Brass Band training will begin in September with ten senior primary and junior secondary students participating. Through teaching them to play the instruments, we hope to share the Gospel with them. We also hope that after two sections of training, some teenagers will become Junior Soldiers.
  2. Pray for the basketball group of 18 junior secondary students. They are from our community. Some attend Christian schools while others have never learnt about Christianity. We hope they can bond with Junior Soldiers through basketball, and we can share the Gospel with them.
  3. The Corps is hiring an evangelist and ministry assistant. May God prepare appropriate personnel for us.

Prayer requests:

  1. Mexico to increase its membership following the ‘Hope’ Strategic Plan. While 280 adult soldiers, 205 Adherents, 41 junior soldiers and 283 Home League members enlisted during 2023, we have yet to reach our growth indicators, and our challenge is to keep growing the Army in this beautiful country.
  2. A holiness revival after Territorial Holiness Seminar held in May 2024.
  3. More evangelical expressions, with the challenge in mind to celebrate 1 open air meeting per corps, per month.
  4. Expansion of the mission, opening four new corps/centres by the end of the Strategic Plan in 2026.
