May God bless the 31 children and their tutors to learn more about the church and the true God through the activities. 2. The Education Center’s after-school care and district-based interest classes for the new academic year will start in September. May the Lord prepare enough tutors for us sowe can have more students. 3. Pray for the development of the youth and children’s ministry in the corps, may God provide us more stable and committed tutors. |

15/08 | Eastern Europe Territory TC: Colonel Richard Borrett CS: Lieut-Colonel João Paulo Ramos Officers 177 (active 152 / retired 25) Cadets 14 Employees 182 Corps 67 Outposts 2 Senior Soldiers 5,349 Adherents 1,419 Junior Soldiers 2,539 Praising God for: 1. The recent Leadership School facilitated for the second year by the Training Principal and Candidates Secretary. We praise God that he is stirring people to explore spiritual leadership within their own corps and within the territory. 2. We thank God for the 8 Cadets who are preparing to enter the ‘Keepers of the Covenant’ session in September. 3. We praise God for the many commitments made at the recent 30th Anniversary celebrations in Moldova. God is continuing to bless our ministry in Moldova. 4. We thank God for his continued protection and sustaining grace over our officers in Ukraine. They continue to serve enthusiastically in difficult circumstances. Prayer Requests: 1. Pray for the Training Principal – Major Adrian Roman, the IFOT tutors, the Cadets and the Cadets’ training officers as they prepare for the commencing of the ‘Keepers of the Covenant’ session in September. 2. Pray for the summer camps that will be happening throughout the territory that the young people and children will come into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. 3. Pray for the Romania Division as they continue to celebrate 25 years of service at the end of August. May this time be uplifting and a turning point for the ministry in Romania. 4. Pray for the war in Ukraine to cease. Too many lives have been lost on both sides! Pray that we will make wise choices when peace comes so that The Salvation Army will be well placed to help support families build their lives back together once again. |

We thank You for Your protection and care over the past thirty years, allowing us to love and care for our service users. 2. We ask for Your protection over our service users, staff, and their families, granting them physical, mental, and spiritual health and peace. Bless them with strength and wisdom to face the challenges in life. 3. This year, our theme is ‘Grateful for You, How Wonderful!’ Let us live a life of gratitude, appreciate each other, and learn and practice gratefulness, so we may find joy and satisfaction. 4. Thank You for Your constant care and guidance. We pray that You will continue to safeguard Lai King Home, allowing it to remain a place full of love, respect, and care, where every service user can find their value and dignity.
