“Discovering Family Treasure”

“Discovering Family Treasure”, an event to celebrate the completion of a family support project, was held on 26 February at Lam Butt Chung Memorial School. With the support of over 30 family volunteers, more than 300 of family members participated. Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: Family-friendly Community Based Project is a 3-year project that commenced in April 2014. Carried out by YFC Kowloon City Family Support Centre and Tung Chung Family Support Centre, it aims to provide support service to families in need through outreach and network, whereby at risk and hidden families can be identified. Through service exhibition and experiential booth games, participating families had an opportunity to look back at their experience and growth through this programme.
