House Warming party of ‘Community Housing Movement - To Kwa Wan Project’

 
The Salvation Army began to operate transitional cohabitation housing scheme in Tokwawan last year. More than 200 residents have been moved in from November 2018. They leave the harsh environment such as mortuary and squatter, and their lives have been improved significantly. At the same time, they practiced "co-living": taking care and helping each other, and make a shared space a "home" with a sense of belonging.
 
Last week, The Salvation Army held a "home warming party" for the residents to celebrate their new lives. The Salvation Army Recycling Programme sponsored toys and daily necessities. Details of the Salvation Army ‘Community Housing Movement - To Kwa Wan Project":
