Service has been set up since 2002. Services target are Hong Kong citizens who are currently street sleeping or with immediate risk of becoming homeless in Yau Tsim Mong District. Based on the Spirit of Salvation Army, we assist street sleepers: 1. to live off the street and reintegrate into the community; 2. To equip street sleepers and other homeless persons with adequate skills to be self-reliant; 3. To assist in homeless prevention work, such as organizing community education programs relating to street sleepers and homeless prevention. Services included: Outreaching service, Counseling service, Emergency fund, Tangible assistance, Social skill training, Referral for other service, Short term hostel placement, Employment guidance and training, Provision of cold-spell-related activities, Aftercare service for case accommodated, Programs/activities on volunteer and community education relating to street sleepers and homeless prevention.
