The home was established in 1974, formerly known as a temporary home for women in Wan Chai District. After 1983 moved to its present site in Nam Shan Restate, further transformation into a care and attention home for the elderly in order to meet the need of services in 2002. Though diversified services in the cluster, whether residential, community elderly, or those with frail physical health, can be developed more comprehensively, in order to achieve communion purposes.
