The centre has been established since July 2013 in a self-financing model for special-needs (autistic spectrum disorders, special learning disorders, developmental disorders, concentration deficiency disorder and hyperactivity) children and adolescents, as well as their families. The professional support services are provided with “family-oriented” and “peer partners” approaches. SKY (Special Key for You) hopes to work with each family to find their “key” to open the “door of hope”, exploring their unique resources and energy in their own families, so that the children’s characteristics and strengths can be developed and appreciated.
