20/05 | Shatin Corps Corps Officer: Major Tammy Cho Prayer Requests: 1. We thank God that our weekly meeting in two elderly homes in Shatin have been supported by the staff of the nursing homes, and the attendance has been increasing steadily. One elderly member from each home has been enrolled as Shatin Corps’ soldiers in May – may glory be to God. 2. We thank God that Shatin Corps was supported by THQ’s mission foundation in the past three years to start the SHINE campus evangelistic ministry in Tin Ka Ping School. Though the support period is over, we will continue this ministry. 3. We thank God for giving us passionate local officers and teachers for the youth ministry. We will be hosting different camps in July and August for Tin Ka Ping School graduates, upper primary students, and K3 students, helping them learn about the gospel and nurturing their spiritual lives. Please pray for our preparation work. |
21/05 | The Salvation Army Catherine Booth Nursery School Head: Ms Tang Yee King Prayer Requests: 1. Our N3 class teacher (Ms Cheung) welcomed her second baby in April, while our Senior Preschool Teacher (Curriculum Development), Ms Luo, will welcome her first baby in August. Please pray for the health and well-being of these two teachers and their precious babies. 2. The school is facing enrolment and financial pressures, requiring all staff members to work together to overcome these difficulties. Please pray for the physical and mental well-being of our staff, so that they may have the strength and a peaceful heart to face the challenges ahead. 3. The N4 students will participate in their very first graduation ceremony on 26 June. May the children will stay healthy to prepare for their performance on the day and may the N4 children and their parents have a wonderful and unforgettable graduation ceremony. |
