05/05 | Macau District Office District Officer: Major Jeremy Lam Prayer Requests: 1. Pray for the arrangements for the General’s Hong Kong trip in October. There are two main events: The Salvation Army Macau Ministry 25th Anniversary Thanksgiving Worship and The Salvation Army Anniversary Celebration and Charity Dinner. As we are organising these two events for the first time, may God watch over us to complete them smoothly, so we will be able to fulfil the goals we have set. 2. Major Jeremy Lam, Ms Lee (Joy), and Mr Yu (Recycling) will visit Chicago, USA, from 16 to 23 May to learn about local TSA services and see if the Macau Ministry can learn from them. |
06/05 | Kowloon East Corps Corps Officer: Captain Billy Lam Prayer requests: 1. Pray for stability among the children’s Sunday school teachers. May the Holy Spirit encourage suitable members to join the ministry and shepherd our children. 2. Pray for soldiers to keep reading the Bible and praying daily. May the Lord help us overcome difficulties. |
07/05 | The Salvation Army Centaline Charity Fund Queen’s Hill Primary School Principal: Mr Tany Chan Prayer requests: 1. Our school serve many grassroot families. As they lack skills in nurturing children, they tend to rely on teachers. It is difficult for them to get in touch with outside resources and grow in this area so they tend to be more self-focused and closed up. May God protect these families, granting them peace and helping them grow. 2. The school has begun planning the work and manpower of the new school year. A stable teaching team is very important to our sustainable development as a new school. May God prepare a dedicated and capable teaching team for us. 3. We hope to start an after-school student fellowship to gather Christian students and nurture new believers. May God inspire dedicated Christian teachers to be part of this ministry and remove obstacles for us. |
