The Salvation Army will be conducting The Salvation Army Territory-wide Flag Day 2025 on 23 August 2025 (Saturday) from 7:00 am to 12:30 pm. As this year marks the 95th anniversary of The Salvation Army serving in Hong Kong, a set of Limited-Edition Gold Flags featuring Little Shield will be launched. For donations of HK$100, donors will receive a Gold Flag Charity Set while for donation of over HK$300, donors will receive a Gold Flag Charity Set with the practical and beautiful limited memorabilia of The Salvation Army Wooden Phone Stand! Due to limited stock, available on a first come, first served basis.

We aim to raise HK$2,400,000 on this Flag Day, and the donations will support The Salvation Army’s many important services, including Preschool Physical Education Support Scheme, Low-income Family Extracurricular Experience Support Scheme, Elderly Fun and Care Day, and other community care services. We sincerely invite you to join us in caring for the community and helping those in need in society.

We hope to recruit 6000 volunteers for this Territory-wide Flag Day. We sincerely invite passionate individuals, organisations, schools, and enterprises to support and participate as volunteers in the Flag Day joining hands together and help those in need in our society.

Volunteers must be over 14 years old by 23 August 2025. To participate, individuals aged 5 to 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Severe Weather Arrangements

– If typhoon signal No. 1 or Amber rainstorm warning is issued before 6:30 am on 23 August, the Flag Day will be held as scheduled.

– If typhoon signal No.3 or above or Red/Black rainstorm warning is issued before 6:30 am on 23 August or during the event, the Flag Day will be cancelled immediately, and the flag bag returning points will be closed. The arrangements for returning the flag bags will be announced on The Salvation Army’s social media platforms.。
