Shatin Corps

Prayer Requests:

  1. We thank God for using the six education services units in the Shatin area to educate and nurture over 1000 youth and children with Christ’s love each school year. Please pray for the Corps’ evangelistic ministry in the education services units in the area in the new school year.
  2. We thank God for helping us rebuild Shatin Corps’ GO fellowship and enrol a sister as its leader on 1 September, working with the committee members to lead the development of the fellowship. Please pray for the GO Fellowship in extending the evangelistic ministry of the Corps.
  3. We thank God for blessing the Corps’ various student summer camps in July and August. We bonded with students from kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools and helped them learn and accept our Saviour Jesus Christ through the camps. Please pray for Shatin YP Corps’ ministry and the Ministry teams.

We thank God:
1. for the summer congress we in June with the General Andre Cox (R)and Commissioner Silvia Cox(R)
2. for the children’s summer camps
3. for the flourishing youth ministry at Vaasa Corps
4. for the officers, employees, soldiers and volunteers committed to God’s mission through the Army
5. for the donations from the general public. We pray for all our donors.

We would like you to support us in prayer for:
1. people to be willing to become part of the Army as adherents, soldiers and officers
2. finding creative ways to minister to young people and children
3. the new community project plant in East Helsinki
4. for the sustainable development iCare secondhand shops to be a means of self-support to the Territory.

Estonia
We thank God:
1. for the smooth appointment changes and ask for your prayers for the officers who moved, and the Corps involved.
2. for all our officers and employees, for their love and care to the people we serve. Please pray for their health and protection.
3. for our cadet who will be commissioned in October, and also for the new cadet who starts her training this September.
4. May God bless them both to commence a new chapter of life with Him.
We ask you to pray for:
1. Our financial situation, to become more independent and find new ways to receive fundings from within Estonia itself.
2. new opportunities to develop our spiritual and social ministries in Estonia, and for good relationships with the local government.

Bradbury Home of Loving Kindness

Prayer requests:
1. We thank God for safeguarding our Home of Loving Kindness thus far and for calling one of our elderly to become a Soldier of The Salvation Army in August. May God continue to protect the physical and mental health of our elderly from illness and pain. May the elderly always learn about the Gospel and have peace and joy.
2. We thank God for safekeeping the family members of our elderly. May God grant them peace and joy that they can work with us to care for the elderly who are in the later stage of their lives.
3. We thank God for also guarding our colleagues to have good health and a loving heart to look after the elderly, bringing them richer later stage of life.
