Our Social Services
provide services and support to people facing crisis and in need. As a Christian organisation, we offer holistic care to the body, mind and spirit of our service recipients.
We are now operating over 80 social services units and carrying out more than 20 community projects in Hong Kong and Macau, helping people in need of different sectors.

Our services to the elders include residences, sheltered housing warden service, district elderly community centres, neighbourhood elderly centres, day care centres, integrated home care service, carer service, palliative care and a number of innovative community projects.

Our services to the people with disabilities include community day rehabilitation service, integrated vocational rehabilitation service, hostels, on the job training program for young people with disabilities, family support projects for children with autism or with specific learning difficulties.

The services to youth and families include integrated service for young people, children and youth centres, service for young night drifters, residential childcare service, school-base counseling service, and a number of family support special projects.

Our Education and Development Centre and youth pre-employment training projects help develop the youth’s experience and potential for better employment prospect.

In response to the specific needs of our community, we have projects to serve the disadvantaged groups. They include urban renewal community service, integrated service for street sleepers, hostels, and rural community development projects.

Our camp service provides activities such as ‘Understanding Natural and Ecological Environment’, leadership training programmes and outdoor education camps. We have two campsites, The Salvation Army Bradbury Camp and The Salvation Army Ma Wan Youth Camp, situated in Cheung Chau and Ma Wan respectively.

The Salvation Army social enterprises aim to create job opportunities and training for the disadvantaged of the community. The enterprises are operating under the principle of self-financing.
